The third principle in planning for a successful CRM implementation is to create a CRM vision.  Since you have already stated your problem and built a coalition that recognizes this problem, it is time now to create a vision statement for your solution.  In order to successfully roll out a CRM application you need a clear vision of what you are trying to accomplish that you can communicate effectively.

So what is a vision?  It can be a mission statement, a target objective, or an overarching principle to your implementation.  It does not need to have specific details, it can be a broad statement.  Your vision will help you build your project

Your online professional profile on Linkedin is as important and possibly more important than your traditional resume.  It is a much more personal, more dynamic, version of your resume and should be taken as seriously.  If you submit your resume for a position and do not have a LinkedIn profile or you have a minimal profile - it is akin to submitting a traditional resume with spelling errors, inconsistencies, and gaps.  Think of your LinkedIn as Part B of your resume.  Recent statistics show that 80% of employers now use LinkedIn as part of their recruiting process, so that means in 8 out of every 10 positions you apply for, you are being researched on Linkedin.  So what does your linkedin profile say about you?  Do you even have a profile?  If you do, what are you telling employers about yourself?  Are you separating yourself from your competition?  You can be sure they are separating themselves from you.
